Cannot find the Crystal Report file Version 13?

Error Occurred ...While running crystal reports on the Web Server Our Operating System is Windows 8 64 bit, VS 2010. Error message is below and attached,

 

Can somebody Help?

Parser Error Message: Could not load file or assembly 'CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.ClientDoc, Version=13.0.2000.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

How to call an Oracle Stored Procedure from an SQL Command

I try to call a stored procedure from an SQL command in Crystal Reports 2008 (SP 2, FP 2.3)

 

The following code

BEGIN 
PROC_NAME(PARAM_1, .., PARAM_N);
END;

 

leads to an Oracle Error ORA-06550 .

 

Apparently my call is not working. Besides that, what about the ref cursor? Do I have to create it inside the command? Or does CR add it before executing the call...

Need help downloading Crystal Reports 2008 SP6 redistributable

I need the Crystal Reports 2008 SP6 redistributable (CRRuntime_12_6_mlb.msi).  According to this page:

 

http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-27917

 

"At this time (May 2013) Service Pack 5 and Service Pack 6 for SAP Crystal Reports 2008 are only available on the SAP Market Service Place. Both SPs should be available soon on SCN via a new SAP Download Portal."

 

I contacted SAP support because I do not have a SAP Market Service Place account / login and when I tried to register it wants a valid customer ID, which I do not have. I was given this link:

Which has SP5 on it but not SP6. The link to the file on that page is:

And I tried changing it to:

https://www.sdn.sap.com/downloads/BusinessObjects/cr2008_sp6_redist.zip

 

But both of those links ask me for a user name and password and my SAP Community Network credentials do not work.

 

How can I download the files I need?

Hello All,

I am facing above mention problen , actualy i have install SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .Net framwork(64- bit) 13 on my machine but on previouslly install lower version of SAP Crystal report runtime and i have updated this version then i am facing the problem,looking some assembly error when running the report.If anyone know the solution it will very helpfull for me.

I've got Crystal Reports XI Release 2 Service Pack 4 running on Windows Server 2003 R2 x64 with Oracle 10.2.0.1.0 32 bit client installed.  However, I cannot create an Oracle Server connection within Crystal.

 

It always gives a "Failed to open connection" ORA-12154 error, even though the 32 client has both TNS names AND EZConnect items set up to point at the target DB (Oracle 10.2.0.1.0 on Win Server 2003 R2 x64 - separate server).  These items work for connections in SQL Plus and Oracle's PL/SQL Developer, but not Crystal.

 

Has anyone encountered this before?  Are there known solutions?

Crystal Report Viewer Windows 7 64-bit

Dear experts,

 

Our Add-On is developed in VB6, and we have our standard reports designed with Crystal Reports 2008. We ship our application with Crystal runtimes of same version.

The problem is, on some Windows 7 64-bit systems, when the user runs the reports, then the viewer launches minimized on the task bar and the user cannot preview the reports.

Does anyone know why this happens ?

Crystal Reports 2008 - Displaying and Grouping results based on different logical criteria

I don't know how else to word that title. Logically what I'm trying to do is simple. I just have no idea how to accomplish it in CR.


There is one table of information. I want to setup 3 different pieces of logic and 1) display the results grouped by each piece of logic and 2) give a count of the number of records in each group.

 

Here is the logic:

 

Results set 1: Display all results if Field A contains a certain text string. Give a count of those results.

 

Results set 2: Display all results if Field B contains a certain text string. Give a count of those results.


Results set 3: Display all results if Field B contains a different text string than Set 2. Give a count of those results.

 

It seems so simple. I just don't know how to do this in CR or really what to Google to specifically find info on this.

 

Any thoughts would be appreciated. I was thinking to use Formula fields for the logic, and I'm just stuck on how to end up using them properly, if that's even the route to take.

 

Ultimately I would also like to display the counts for each of these result sets in a table as well.

It always gives a "Failed to open connection" ORA-12154 error, even though the 32 client has both TNS names AND EZConnect items set up to point at the target DB (Oracle 10.2.0.1.0 on Win Server 2003 R2 x64 - separate server).  These items work for connections in SQL Plus and Oracle's PL/SQL Developer, but not Crystal.

 

Has anyone encountered this before?  Are there known solutions?

Crystal Reports: How to concatenate a string to display 'detail' records in a header section?

Within the details section I have a field "Country of origin" so this varies per item. I am trying to acheive a fiel ideally in the header (but could be a footer) which displays this information together in a line.

 

Eg -

 

Details A - field = UK

Details B - field = US

Details C - field = China

Details D - field = UK

 

The header or footer field would show - UK, US, China

 

Please note UK only appears once even though it is in both detail A and D.

 

Really struggling to get this to work so any help would be greatly appreciated?

ODBC Drivers for Crystal Reports XI on Windows 7 64bit

Finding things on this site is extremely difficult and when I called in to support, they weren't any help either. Does anyone know where I can find the ODBC Oracle drivers for Crystal Reports XI running on a Windows 7 64bit OS?  I found this page but it send me to the downloads area and I can't find the drivers there. I'm really frustrated with this portal.
